Description Current Lot TIFFANY STUDIOS CURTAIN BORDER FLOOR LAMP. This curtain border design is one of the most popular designs ever created by Tiffany Studios and was one of the first designs and transcended through all the production years of Tiffany. This handsome shade begins with heavily striated green panels of glass in a vertical feather design with yellow glass diamond shaped pieces of glass then extends back into the green glass with a single border of smaller geometric panels in yellow. The shade ends with vertical rectangular pattern of heavily rippled glass in various shades of yellow, orange and rum. Shade is supported by a senior decorated floor base with six swan head sockets. Supporting the shade are three arms that end with a shell design set above a ribbed floor stem that ends in a decorated padded platform base with four feet. The base carries a highly desirable original patina finish. The lamp is completed with a replacement pigtail top cap with matching patina finish. Shade is signed "Tiffany Studios New York".
