Description THIS AUCTION IS FOR A VINTAGE SET OF 3 WESTERN STYLE DIVIDED DINNER PLATES AND 2 MATCHING MUGS!!  I BELIEVE THIS SET IS FROM THE 40'S OR 50'S TIME PERIOD.  EACH PLATE MEASURES ABOUT 11" IN DIAMETER AND THE MUGS ARE ABOUT 3.5" TALL AND ABOUT 3" IN DIAMETER!!  THE PLATES ARE DIVIDED INTO 3 SECTIONS, 1 LARGE AND 2 SMALL!!  THE LARGE SECTION FEATURES A PICTURE OF A LONGHORN STEER AND THE 2 SMALLER SECTIONS EACH FEATURE A PAIR OF SPURS!!  ALL 3 SECTIONS HAVE LASSO ROPES IN THEM WITH THE PICTURES!!  THE EDGE OF THE PLATES ARE SURROUNDED WITH DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE SHAPES THAT APPEAR TO BE BRANDS FROM BRANDING IRONS!!  THE MATCHING MUGS FEATURE A PICTURE OF THE LONGHORN STEER ON ONE SIDE AND THE PAIR OF SPURS ON THE OTHER, BOTH THAT MATCH THE PICTURES ON THE PLATES!!  BOTH MUGS ALSO HAVE LASSO ROPES IN THE STEER PICTURE AND DOWN THE MUG HANDLE!!  THIS IS A VERY OLD, UNIQUE SET AND IT SHOWS SIGNS OF WEAR AND AGE CRACKS.  THIS UNIQUE SET WOULD MAKE A NEAT ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION!!
