Description
IMPORTANT NOTE, PLEASE READ: The shipping cost quoted on this listing is an ESTIMATE ONLY. PLEASE DON'T PAY until you receive my eBay invoice! I don't pack my sets until they're sold so I can't give you the exact postage cost until I see how many boxes it takes to ship the set safely, the weight of each box and where you live. I don't charge anything for packing, handling or materials! You will pay EXACTLY what the Post Office charges me. HI! I'm Listing 33-Pieces of Noritake's Popular Hand Painted "Azalea" Pattern Fine China. The Larkin Company marketed the vast majority of this pattern in the United States. The numbers that I refer to below are theirs. According to my book on Noritake, the green marks that I refer to date the pieces to between 1921-1924. Note: The marks in my photos are in black and white, but they are actually light green!Condition: All pieces are in excellent condition. The pieces range in condition from very lightly used (having a tiny use mark or two) to unused. The gold trim is nearly 100%. There aren't any chips, cracks or any other damage. As always you will find tiny factory defects on some pieces - a tiny black soot mark, a bit of smeared paint or gold from the decorating process, a tiny indent in the glaze, etc. Expect to find some pieces with these present. So bid accordingly! Description: My photos are good and everyone knows what the Azalea pattern looks like so I won't waste your time with a lengthy description. Here is a List of The Pieces Included: One 6-Piece Condiment Set (Larkin #14). As always only the tray and mustard are marked with the Noritake Green mark 19322 (see black & white photos of marks). This mark is Circa 1921-1924. The tray is 7 1/2" long, the mustard jar is 1 7/8" tall x 2 1/8" diameter and the spoon is 2 7/8' long. The shakers are 2 3/8" tall x 1 1/4" diameter and are marked in green - made in Japan (as usual). One Whipped Cream set (Larkin #3) that includes the Bowl, Under-plate and Ladle. The bowl and ladle have the green 19322 mark. The under-plate isn't marked. The bowl is 4 3/8" across the top x 2" tall and has three ball type feet. The ladle is 4 7/8" long and the under-plate is 5 1/2" in diameter.Five 7 1/2" Salad Plates, Larkin #4 (with the green mark without the #19322)Five Cups, Larkin #2 (2" tall and 3 5/8" across the top & 1 7/8" across the bottom) with the green #19322 mark.Five 5 5/8" Saucers, Larkin #2 (1 7/8" well) no mark on bottomSix 5 1/4" Fruit Bowls, Larkin #9 (Green mark #19322)One Creamer, Larkin #7 (2 7/8" tall x 2 1/2" across the bottom) 8 oz.
