There is a impressed marking on the back     "WOODFIELD   MFG BY   STEUBENVILLE". Made by the    Steubenville Pottery Co.    in the      Leaf Shape    in the    1940's    "Tropic Green". (3) of the plates are in good used condition.  No chips, cracks, minimum utensil marks. The fourth plate I would call a second.  There is a large factory defect on the detail of the edge.  This is the only plate that has noticeable crazing on it.  There are deeper scratches on the surface also. These would look great for Thanksgiving and even Christmas plates. I can send more detailed pictures by email if desired. Just ask. This came from an estate in Northwestern Wisconsin. This estate is the sister’s to the first estate I have been listing where the owner lived on her family’s farm for over 80 years.
