These are really unique Covered Dishes. The photo of the base is a stock photo to show the Frogs around the bases. These were designed by the renowned Frog collector David Schepps. There were only 125 sets of these 5 1/2" Covered Dishes produced in Blue & White Slag and only 95 ever offered for sale. They will NEVER again be made so the only colors is this Blue Slag and the White Milk Glass I also have listed. They are marked Schepps 1, Schepps 2, Schepps 3, Schepps 4 to show the order the molds were made. The pattern themes are 1)Single Frog, 2)Leap Frog, 3)Three Friends, 4)Mama & Three Babies. The detail on these covered dishes is fabulous. There are Frogs all around the bases and flowers on the base and lid. You are sure to love them.
