I've been selling with an established Ebayer (my hubby) for many years. ***************************************************** Here we have 4 Vintage 1952 Steubenville Pottery Woodfield Design 5-1/2" Salad or Soup Bowls In a color like the Russel Wright Chartreuse which was also manufactured by Steubenville. Recently purchased from an estate auction. Steubenville Pottery's most readily recognized pattern is this simple leaf shape/design. Steubenville Pottery, established in 1879 in Steubenville Ohio was a leading manufacturer of household pottery until it's closing in 1959. The leaf shaped "Woodfield" pattern dinnerware remains one of Steubenville's most popular lines. Research shows it was also called a Gay leaf pattern. It is impressed on the bottom Woodfield, Mfg by Steubenville. They have age appropriate crazing  but in good condition for vintage EXCEPT for a small chip on one bowl (see photos).
