Punch Set Very Rare 14 Pieces ~ Base ~ Punch Bowl ~ 12 Cups   Item for sale is very rare Imperial Glass Candlewick decorated and etched-in-gold Punch Bowl Set.This item is in excellent condition with some scratches in the bottom of the bowl and few minor scratches in the bottom of several of the cups.   This beautiful set is owned by Lolly Pinkston in Fort Worth, Texas. Lolly has been a passionate and avid Imperial Candlewick collector for over 60 years and is a past president of the Texas Imperial Glass Collectors Society.   Only 125-250 of these sets were ever made. This 14 piece set was made from 1943-1953 and the components include a 10" wide flat bottom punch bowl base, a 6 quart, 13" diameter punch bowl and 12 cups. This set is basically the same set as the 400/128 set, only this set features all over Gold-on-Glass and an etched floral design. The most commonly used Candlewick price guide's 2006 edition, which catalogs prices paid on all Candlewick items actually sold through auctions and private party sales lists this item with a vaule range of $5,220.00 - $10,000.00 - the upper range being for one that sold in mint condition.
