DESCRIPTION HUGE Murano SIGNED Art Glass FAZZOLETTO Vase Sculpture with Random Bubble Pulegoso Decoration!!! It is signed VENINI ITALIA!!! I have looked for a similar design in books and catalogs but cannot find any information. Believe it was made in the 1960s, maybe a Bianconi or Tapio Wirkkala design? The glass is filled, along with the bubbles, with little black and white dots, which I believe was made on purpose. I dont think Venini would make something like this without everything being intentional. Has a polished bottom, with concave pontil mark (where it is signed). While taking the photos, I just noticed it has a flat chip on the rim (pictured). Had not seen it until just now. Mentioned for accuracy. If anyones knows any information about the maker of the vase, please let me know. I want to be as accurate as I can. There is NO other damage (chips, nicks, or impact marks).
