They could be used as individual lobster casseroles also. They are very similar to the red lobster on black that is made by Shawnee Pottery in the Kenwood pattern, and although I have never seen this color before, it very well may have been made by Shawnee. The color is really striking. It is a green blue color, more green I think than blue but definately could be either color. The lids are white and have a three dimensional lobster for a handle. The salt and pepper shakers also have a red lobster on the top of them. They are not marked. They are in excellent condition. The salt and peppers need corks. They are just a really neat lobster set.
