(ONLY 11 DINNER PLATES 12 OF EVERYTHING ELSE).COVERED VEGETABLE BOWL, VEGETABLE BOWL, PLATTER, CREAMER, SUGAR BOWL & LID, GRAVY BOAT WITH ATTACHED UNDER PLATE, CANDY DISH AND DECORATIVE PLATTER. Originally introduced in 1917, Lowell is distinctive for its elaborate band of 24 karat gold, etched in an ornate style reminiscent of services privately commissioned at the turn of the century. Part of the Lenox Presidential Collection, this service is crafted of the same ivory fine china found in the five official state services commissioned for the White House. Beautiful rounded shaping on bowls and servers complement Lowell’s handsome proportions. An extensive collection suitable for multi-course feasts and the teacups gleam with gold. All pieces are safe in the dishwasher, though Lenox recommends washing them by hand.
