Description
Rene Lalique (French 1860-1945), opalescent and frosted glass "Ronsard" vase, 1926, bulbous form, narrow neck, flat outcurving rim, two frosted glass handles with floral wreath enclosing seated female nude, marked on base "R. Lalique" in block letters, "France" in etched script, (Marcilhac #982); 8 1/4" height, 6 3/4" diameter, 8 1/4" width over handles. Two minor adjacent scratches on body: Superficial, thin L- shaped scratch 9/16" vertical by 5/16" horizontal. Superficial curved scratch 1 1/4" span end to end- 1/3 of scratch as measured is very difficult to see. The scratches together take up approximately an area the size of a quarter. Minor blemish.
