The apple green glaze is applied over a light clay which shows through - emphasizing the design of stylized leaves. The glaze is lightly crazed. There is a small .2" glaze skip on the rim of the vase, and a glazed-over “nick” on the bottom edge of the vase (pictured). The vase is marked with the “VAN BRIGGLE” name, Van Briggle "logo", date “1904”, design number "165", and the Roman numeral "V". There are no chips, cracks or repairs to this rare vase.
