Gates' Description A very rare and large Teco piece measuring 9.25" tall, 5" across the rim and about 9.5" at its widest point. Beautiful charcoaling on this classic Teco green glazed vase. As can be seen in the photos, the piece appears to have had some restoration in two areas on the rim. Does not detract from sheer impressiveness of this original Teco vase. Marked twice on the bottom and bears a Christie's auction sticker from a past sale. This exact same vase can be found in Frank Lloyd Wright's Meyer May House in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It doesn't get much better than this. Ask questions--due to fragile nature of this rare pottery, all sales are final.
