Malibu or Catalina Island Tile Table Vintage California Mission Arts & Crafts Table Start Price USD 99.99 Current Price USD 504.00 Time Left - Bid Count 6 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, November 20, 2008 End Time Tuesday, November 25, 2008 Location Port Orchard, Washington See more about 'Malibu or Catalina Island Tile Table' Description Malibu or Catalina Island Tile Table I have studied and researched this table and believe it to be a Catalina Island table.  The colors of Toyon Red and and Catalina Blue are pretty easy to recognize.  However I am not an expert by any means so study the pictures and you be the judge.  This table is all about the tile.  There are 6 vibrant colored tiles that measure 7 7/8" square.  The table has clean lines and straight legs.  There are scallops around the base of the top.  This more simple form makes the tiles the focus and really showcases them well.  The table top measures about 24 1/2" by 14 1/2" and is 18 1/2" tall.  Simply stunning!  The table is heavy at 30 pounds.  There are some glaze pops here and there and light wear consistent with a table of this age.  The grout is in good shape aside from some discoloration and a 3/4" area of missing tile were there is also a tiny nick in the tile (I took a picture of that area but because it is so small it is difficult to see).  None of this affects the value of the table and the entire table has a wonderful vintage patina.   This table will be a welcome addition to any serious collection.  You will not be disappointed with this table.  Please ask questions before bidding.
