It is made of blue and white stoneware and weighs almost 7 pounds. The Bow Tie Pattern appears on both sides and a decal with multicolored roses is on one side only. The handle is applied. Large pitcher was made to hold hot water and measures 11" in height and the bottom diameter is 4 3/4". There is a fine gold line along handle and upper edge. The ewer and basin in the Bow Tie Pattern is priced at $625 in the Price Guide, ANTIQUE TRADER, STONEWARE AND BLUE & WHITE POTTERY. No chips,cracks, hairlines, or repairs. There are some minor manufacturing flaws as common to heavy stoneware.
