All pieces are clam shell shaped and lightly ribbed. The pattern features a variety of ocean seaweed drifting around the rim and the well of the plates. A very desirable and collectable pattern and extremely rare in hand painted polychrome and in this unusual form. The pattern displays the victorian eras love of nature. Condition is very good, clean and bright. Two plates have a tiny back chip not seen from the front. the Tazza has a tiny back chip and a larger one along the impressed shell base.
