The vase is decorated in a sgraffito pattern with abstract floral designs set within rounded panels. Hand painted in green and turquoise colours against a brown ground the vase is simply stunning. The vase was made by George Seddon and has an indistinct painted artist mark. The vase also bears an incised ship pottery mark along with DR for Della Robbia.
