It is rare to find a pair of matching lamps that are in perfect condition like these. Factory original with a factory made hole. The bottom is marked with the flame and XLVII (1947), a shape number 6855. This shape was designed by Kataro Shirayamadani (The Second Book of Rookwood Pottery by Herbert Peck pg. 110 and 173). It is also marked with the letter D which is having to do with the size. (The Second Book of Rookwood Pottery by Herbert Peck pg. 38). There is a slight flaw in one of the white globes. The pottery portion with normal amount of crazing and fittings are in excellent condition. The overall height is 24" and the pottery portion is 10 1/2". I think the flower is a bleeding heart. Very nice mold and lovely shades of green. The electrical is in great working order and works with a regular light bulb as well as a 3 way.There is also 2 finials that came with them. The quantity shows one but this is for the pair.These will be professionally packed and shipped. I am just now starting to sell again. Many items that I have had for years.
