Description
100% AUTHENTIC! Quezal Quezal glass was made from 1901 to 1924 at the Queens, New York, company started by Martin Bach, Sr. Other glassware by other firms, such as Loetz, Steuben, and Tiffany, resembles this iridescent glass. This exquisite piece is an absolute marvel of artwork. The iridescent colors mirror the elaborate feathers of the peacock and colors of the quetzal bird after which it is named. Inside, an iridescent glazed finish of gold and pink results in a gentle sheen of soft gold luster, truly unlike anything I have ever seen. Absolutely extraordinary This extremely detailed pattern help proliferate the Art Nouveau Movement. Absolutely Perfect Condition DIMENSIONS: 4½in"(h) x 4 1/2in"(w) (Opening) 2 3/4in" (Fitter) 1 1/4in" Signed "QUEZAL" All Items Come From Estates and Private Collections.
