This big mill measures 9 and 3/4 inches tall to the top of its metal knob and has a metal pepper grinder. In typical Digsmed fashion it is made of lovely carved inlaid teak hardwoods. The metal base is incised "Digsmed Design Denmark". The top metal knob unscrews and the top section lifts off in order to place the pepper in the mill.
