The set was appraised by Sotheby's for $7,000 in 1998. (We will be happy to provide a copy of the appraisal.) This service has a turquoise ground decorated with ivy leaves enclosing twelve different flower specimens, with the Latin species name painted on reverse. Overall condition is very good, with no visible chips or restorations. There is noticeable wear to the gilding on each piece. Set includes: (1) footed oblong two-handled stand (11.75 x 8.75 x 2.5 inches) (1) footed oval two-handled stand (10.75 x 9 x 2 inches) (2) single-handled stands (9.75 x 8.75 x 2.5 inches) (8) plates (9 inch diameter) Please page down to see additional images.
